Draft n Craft’s “Adopt a Tree” Movement Grows Stronger with Collective Commitment
[New Delhi, India | Saturday, 27 December 2025]
On Saturday, 27th December, Draft n Craft brought a quiet yet powerful message to the streets through its “Adopt a Tree” movement a reminder that caring for the environment begins with simple, human actions.
Dressed in all white, the Draft n Craft team stepped out to spread a simple message: don’t wait for solutions, be one. During the drive, 500 potted plants were distributed to showroom owners, passersby, and members of the local community, encouraging them to take the plants home and care for them as a personal responsibility.
What made the initiative truly special was the active participation of employees, each contributing in their own way. Team members pledged the number of potted plants they would personally support and distribute as part of the movement.
Leading by example, Director Anjali Aphwa committed to supporting 500 plants, followed by Senior Vice President Sagar Pratap Singh pledging 100 plants, and several others across the organization stepping forward with their own commitments. This collective effort transformed the initiative from a company drive into a shared mission.
The movement also sparked curiosity and meaningful conversations, with many people stopping to ask questions and understand the idea behind adopting trees, not just planting them.
Sharing his thoughts on the initiative, Rakesh Kumar Sharma said:
“It is better to take action than wait for solutions to arrive.
Wise individuals plant trees, knowing well they may never sit in their shade.”
Encouraged by the public response and internal enthusiasm, Draft n Craft has committed to taking the Adopt a Tree initiative forward as an open movement, inviting anyone to join and contribute. The next plant distribution drive is scheduled for 17th January, with many more planned in the future.
Through this initiative, Draft n Craft reinforces a simple belief: real change begins when responsibility is shared and action starts today.
