ML/AI Engineer
Key Responsibilities AI STRATEGY & LEADERSHIP

Lead the design and implementation of scalable ML/AI solutions aligned with business goals.
Mentor and manage a team of ML engineers and data scientists to deliver high-impact projects.
Collaborate with legal experts and software engineers to identify AI opportunities and define technical roadmaps.


MODEL DEVELOPMENT & DEPLOYMENT

Build and optimize end-to-end ML pipelines including data ingestion, preprocessing, training, evaluation, and deployment.
Develop production-ready models for NLP, document classification, summarization, and entity extraction.
Apply transfer learning and fine-tune LLMs (e.g., LLaMA, GPT, etc.) for legal domain-specific tasks.


DATA ENGINEERING & FEATURE ENGINEERING

Design robust ETL workflows to process structured and unstructured legal data.
Implement advanced feature extraction and selection techniques to improve model performance.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with legal standards.


PERFORMANCE MONITORING & OPTIMIZATION

Define and track key performance metrics for deployed models.
Continuously improve model accuracy, latency, and scalability through experimentation and feedback loops.


INTEGRATION & COLLABORATION

Integrate ML models into existing software platforms and internal workflows.
Work closely with DevOps and cloud teams to deploy solutions on AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments.
Document processes, decisions, and outcomes for transparency and reproducibility.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, AI, or related field.
  • 5+ years of total experience in ML/AI engineering, preferably in NLP or legal tech.
  • Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers.
  • Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and data pipeline tools
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI, LLMs, and neural network architecture.
  • Experience deploying models to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with software development practices and version control (Git, CI/CD).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with legal document processing and compliance workflows.
Knowledge of MLOps tools and frameworks.
Exposure to multi-modal AI (text, image, audio).
Prior experience in leading AI teams or projects.
